Wild Greens, Vinegar & Honey Study Guide (Workshop Completed)
Wild Greens, Vinegar & Honey Study Guide (Workshop Completed)
In this Workshop and Study Guide, we learned to identify and use wild spring herbs; Chickweed, Onion Grass, Violet, Garlic Mustard, Stinging Nettle, Plantain, and Dandelion; emerging and thriving in local fields & lawns. Please refer to a human or written guide if you are not 100% positive of a plant’s identity. My goal is to bring herbalism into your daily life in an accessible, yet potent way. The most effective remedies can do nothing if they are not used, or thought of when needed. With this in mind, I aim to empower you in using herbs daily, in a way that brings pleasure and resilience to your body, mind & spirit. This increases the likelihood that you have them conveniently accessible & are building experience to amplify them into medicinal remedies when needed, for restoration, healing, and dis-ease. You’re also likely to remember to use the herbs you’re familiar with when you, or someone you know, is unwell.
Each Herb Monograph in this guide shows a picture of the herb, a brief intro, herb actions, useful remedies to make with each particular herb, as well as more specific remedy recipes that are tried & true. I encourage you to explore the recipes, then experiment with different herbs, and try out the listed remedies either by researching recipes or making them up as you go along!
Many herbs have a plethora of healing properties, so it’s great to dive in deeply & frequently with just a few herbs. You’ll find that the ones within our reach can meet most of our needs. We have all we need right here.
